What is different about the bulk pack?

The packaging, not the heater. Output, voltage and the rotary controller are the same as the standard kit, and it installs the same way. It suits anyone buying more than one, or anyone who would rather not deal with a stack of retail boxes.

Rotary or digital for a van you hire out or sell on?

Rotary, most of the time. A dial needs no instructions, no menu and no handover explanation, and the next person to use it will work it out cold and tired at ten at night. Digital wins when one owner wants the heater holding a set temperature unattended.

What should I sort out before install day?

Where each heater sits, where its exhaust exits, where the fuel tank and pump live, and how the ducting reaches the far end of the van. Fuel lines have a maximum length and ducting hates tight bends, so the layout decides the job. Cutting first and planning second puts holes in the wrong spot.
