Common questions

Can I run this off my battery system?

Only with a serious inverter behind it. This is a 240 volt appliance putting out 900 watts, and it draws more again at the wall, so for most vans it is a powered site or generator item. Plan your free camping meals around the stove instead.

Will 25 litres take a dinner plate?

Yes, and that is the argument for going this size in a van rather than smaller. A tight cavity forces you to eat out of the container. The trade is bench space, because this is a full-sized box, so measure the gap before you commit to a spot.

Is the child lock any use if I have no kids?

More than you would think. It stops the touch pad waking up when something leans on it while you are driving, which in a moving van happens more often than you would like. Same logic applies to lifting the turntable plate out before a rough road.
