Overview
A slide-out, soft-touch variable-speed rangehood with black glass fascia and integrated LED lighting, for caravan kitchens.
Common questions
Will a rangehood in a caravan actually make a difference?
It does for moisture more than smoke. Gas cooking dumps water vapour into a small space, and that ends up as condensation on the windows overnight. Running the fan while you cook and for a few minutes afterwards pulls most of it out before it settles.
Why does the slide-out matter?
Bench space. In a van kitchen the hood sits low over the hob, and a fixed canopy is something you knock your head on. Sliding it out only when you cook gives you the extraction when you need it and the clearance when you do not.
Anything to watch when fitting it?
Black glass looks sharp and shows every fingerprint and splatter, so keep a cloth handy. Mount it so the fascia clears the tallest pot you use and the sliding section does not foul an overhead cupboard door. Measure both before you cut anything.
