A 300A manual-reset circuit breaker for 12–48V DC systems, sized for battery-to-busbar main feeds and large inverter runs. It resets by hand, so a fault costs you a button press rather than a spare fuse you did not pack.

The F-style base mounts on the surface, the body seals to IP67, and it is ignition protected — so it can live in an engine bay or battery box where fuel vapour is a possibility. The push button opens the circuit on demand for isolation; resetting is a separate, deliberate action. Size the cable to the breaker, not to today's load: the breaker protects the cable, so the cable has to carry what the breaker will pass.

Is 300A more breaker than anyone needs?

For most touring vehicles, yes. This is the top of the range and it belongs on 000 B&S cable with 95mm lugs — motorhome inverter feeds, large lithium banks, machinery. On a wagon with a fridge and a light bar it protects nothing, because the cable would fail first.

How do I support cable that heavy?

Clamp it, do not let it hang. 000 B&S has real weight, and its leverage on the 3/8-16 studs works nuts loose over corrugations. Secure the cable within a short distance either side of the breaker, bolt the base to something structural, and re-check the torque after the first long trip.

Will it clear a short on a big lithium bank?

It is rated to interrupt 3000A at 30V DC, which is the figure that matters when a large bank dumps into a dead short. Mount it as close to the battery terminal as the cable allows — the length between the battery and the breaker is the part nothing protects.
