A 70A manual-reset circuit breaker in a flush-mount body, sized for fridges, diesel heaters, smaller inverters and the feed into a distribution panel. The breaker sits behind the panel with only the reset button and studs presented, which suits a switch panel, battery box lid or purpose-built distribution board.

Sealed to IP67 and ignition protected, it resets by hand rather than consuming a fuse. Size the cable to the breaker rating, not to the load you happen to be running today.

What is 70A the right size for?

A bigger fridge and heater circuit, a smaller inverter, or the feed into a distribution panel that runs several loads at once. Add up everything downstream before you settle on it. Minimum cable is 6 B&S with a 16mm lug, which is heavy enough to want planning behind a panel.

Why size the cable to the breaker instead of the load?

Because the breaker protects the cable, not the appliance. Thin wire behind a 70A breaker can sit just under the trip point and heat up quietly for hours. Size the wire for the breaker rating, and the load you plug in later never changes the maths.

Will it survive a dusty, wet chassis mount?

The body is sealed to IP67 and ignition protected, so water and fuel vapour are not the problem — access is. Flush mounting suits a finished panel, a battery box lid or a distribution board. If it has to live under the vehicle in the muck, mount it inside something instead.
