A 40A manual-reset circuit breaker in a flush-mount body, sized for fridges, diesel heaters, smaller inverters and the feed into a distribution panel. The breaker sits behind the panel with only the reset button and studs presented, which suits a switch panel, battery box lid or purpose-built distribution board.

Sealed to IP67 and ignition protected, it resets by hand rather than consuming a fuse. Size the cable to the breaker rating, not to the load you happen to be running today.

Is 40A enough for a fridge and a diesel heater?

For one of them, comfortably. This size suits a fridge circuit, a diesel heater, a smaller inverter or the feed into a distribution panel. Running two hungry appliances through the same breaker means adding their draw together and sizing the cable — minimum 6mm here — to match.

Do I need special lugs to wire it up?

You need crimped lugs with a 6mm eye to suit the studs, not bare wire twisted under a nut. Strip, crimp with a proper tool, then nip the nuts up — 5.6 N•m is the maximum, and leaning on it cracks the housing instead of making a better connection.

Can I use the button as an isolator?

Yes — it is a manual push-to-trip, so you can open the circuit on purpose to work on it safely. Resetting is a separate deliberate action, which is the point. It is not a daily on/off switch though; use a proper switch for that and leave the breaker for protection.
