A 175A manual-reset circuit breaker in a flush-mount body, sized for battery-to-busbar main feeds and large inverter runs. The breaker sits behind the panel with only the reset button and studs presented, which suits a switch panel, battery box lid or purpose-built distribution board.

Sealed to IP67 and ignition protected, it resets by hand rather than consuming a fuse. Size the cable to the breaker rating, not to the load you happen to be running today.

What draws enough to need 175A?

Battery-to-busbar main feeds and large inverter runs. This is the trunk of the system, not a branch — if you are protecting a fridge or a light bar, you have gone several sizes too far. The cable to match is 2 B&S minimum with a 35mm lug.

Can it clear a dead short on a big lithium bank?

It is rated to interrupt 3000A at 30V DC, which is the number that matters for a short across heavy cable. That is what separates a proper DC breaker from an AC one pressed into service. Mount it close to the battery so the unprotected length of cable stays short.

Is flush mounting practical with cable this heavy?

Only if you plan the space. 2 B&S does not bend sharply, and the lugs sit behind the panel where you have to reach them. Work out the cable route and the bend radius before cutting the hole, or choose the surface-mount version and give yourself room to swing a spanner.
