One step of headroom on the same cable. Both want 4mm minimum with blue crimps, so the 25A gives a circuit a little more room before it trips without asking for heavier wire. Pick it when a light circuit or pump sits close to the limit of the smaller breaker.
Usually not. A breaker that trips is doing its job, so look for the fault first: a chafed wire against the chassis, a motor that has stiffened up, or a circuit quietly carrying more than you planned. Resetting onto a real fault over and over is how wiring gets damaged.
No. This is a DC device, rated 12–48V, and fitting it to a 240V AC circuit is dangerous. DC arcs do not self-extinguish the way AC does, and the two are not interchangeable regardless of the amp rating. Keep it on the battery side and leave AC work to a sparky.
