What does the reversible pattern actually get me?

A second look and a longer life. Flipping between the orange and grey sides lets you match whatever awning you have, and it also spreads the sun exposure across both faces instead of bleaching one. Flip it every few trips rather than only when you are bored of the colour.

It says mould resistant, so can I pack it away damp?

Mould resistant is not mould proof. Rolled up wet in a hot locker, any mat will come out smelling like a forgotten tent, and the pattern will wear a shadow of it. Stand it over a chair or the drawbar for an hour, and give it a hose and a dry before you head home.

Is this size right for my van?

At 5m x 2.4m it suits the bigger end of things, dual-axle vans and annexe floors where a smaller mat leaves bare ground at both ends. Under a short van it simply overhangs, which is untidy but harmless. Measure your awning length and work from that, not the van badge.
