Is this enough to cook a real meal for two?

A one-pot meal, yes. A 1.0 litre pot and a 0.6 litre saucepan will handle pasta and a sauce, or a stew and a brew, for two people who are not fussy. Three courses for four it is not, and there is one cup and one spork only.

What gas canisters does the stove take?

Screw-top EN417 canisters, the 230 g threaded type, and not the push-fit cartridges that slide into a two-burner camp stove. They are different fittings and one will never run the other. Check which type you already carry before you end up with both in the drawer.

How good is 450 grams in practice?

Light enough that you stop thinking about it. The whole kit, pot, pan, cup, spork and burner, nests into a 145 mm bundle and rides in a pack or a door pocket. The trade is thin walls, so it heats fast, cools fast and scorches rice if you wander off.
