Most owners run a rear view for reversing and put the other somewhere that worries them: a side blind spot, a horse float, the interior with the dog in it. Swap between them on the monitor. If you only ever reverse, a single camera does the job with less to charge and mount.
Useful, and not for the reason people expect. Reversing solo is fine, but when someone is standing at the back guiding you in, hearing them through the monitor beats hand signals and shouting through a window. It also picks up wind and road roar, so you will turn it down while driving.
More links mean more chances for a stutter, particularly in a crowded park where everything is talking on the same band. Keep the camera antennas clear of metalwork and pointing roughly at the monitor, and accept the picture may hiccup occasionally. Nothing wireless is as solid as a cable.
