Inox MX9 No Chukka is a specialist chain lubricant formulated to penetrate deep into chain rollers and pins while resisting the centrifugal fling-off that makes standard wet lubes messy and short-lived on high-speed chains. The non-fling formula means more lubricant stays in the chain and less ends up on your swingarm, rear wheel and riding gear. Excellent on bike chains, quad bike final drives, anchor chains and any roller chain application in outdoor conditions.

Common questions about Inox MX9 No Chukka Chain Lube Aerosol 300g

Will it still fling off at highway speed?

Far less than a standard wet lube, though nothing is completely fling-proof. The formula sets up in the chain rather than staying runny, so what ends up on the rear rim is a fraction of what a thin oil throws. Wipe the excess before you ride.

Is it any good on a pushbike chain?

Yes, with a caveat. It works on a bike chain and resists rain washout, but any tacky chain lube collects dust on dry gravel and fire trails. Clean the chain before you relube rather than coating over grit, or you are grinding paste through the rollers.

Can I use it as a general purpose spray?

Do not bother. This is built to cling to a moving chain, so it is tackier than you want on hinges, reels or electrical plugs. Keep a general lubricant for those jobs and save the chain lube for chains, final drives and anchor chain.
