Work circuit by circuit: each fuse protects the cable leaving that holder, so the rating follows the cable size, not the appliance sticker. A holder rated to 200A does not mean a 200A fuse belongs in it. That number is the ceiling, not a recommendation.
No. Four holders at 200A each would ask for more than the 400A the busbar can pass, so the block is sized for real-world loads that peak at different times. If your circuits genuinely all run hard together, split them across separate feeds.
Right after the main battery protection, where the heavy feed splits. Put it close enough to the battery that the cable between them is short and well supported, and somewhere you can actually reach. A fuse you cannot get a spanner to gets replaced with a bolt eventually.
