A busbar drilled for 5 AllSpark Midi fuse holders, so a bank of fused outputs shares one common feed instead of 5 separate connections back to the battery.

Bolt the holders down the bar, land the main positive on one end, and every circuit downstream is individually fused from a single tidy assembly.

Common questions

Is five holes overkill?

Not for a caravan or a full touring fitout. Five fused outputs covers a fridge, two lighting circuits, a pump and a heater with nothing spare. Count what you run now, add the thing you keep talking about adding, and pick the bar that holds all of it.

Can I mix fuse ratings across the five positions?

Yes, and that is the intent. Every holder is independent, so a thin lighting run and a heavy inverter feed each get a fuse matched to their own cable. What they share is the feed, so make sure the cable into the bar can carry all five circuits working at the same time.

What goes wrong with a build like this?

Terminations, almost every time. A shared feed pulls the current of everything downstream through one stud, so a lug that was nipped up by hand slowly heats, oxidises and lets go on a corrugated road. Crimp properly, torque the nuts, and check them after the first big trip.
