Overview

The Victron BlueSolar MPPT 150/45-MC4 is a 45A solar charge controller that squeezes more power out of your panels, with ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking that can lift energy harvest by up to 30% over a PWM controller. It auto-detects 12, 24 or 48V battery systems, handles up to 650W of solar at 12V (1300W at 24V, 2600W at 48V), and reaches peak efficiency above 98% with no cooling fan to clog with dust.

Built for Australian caravan, motorhome and 4WD setups, the MC4 version plugs straight into standard solar panel leads, so roof-mounted arrays, fold-out camping panels and off-grid installs go together quickly. It copes with the shifting light of cloudy days and partial shade from trees or roof gear, and runs at full rated output up to 40°C. That makes it a dependable choice for extended outback touring, remote station stays and off-grid camping, whether you are upgrading an existing RV or wiring a new rig from scratch.
