Overview

The REDARC BCDCN1225 Core DC-DC Battery Charger delivers reliable 25A (continuous) dual-source charging for your auxiliary battery, drawing from both your vehicle's alternator and an unregulated solar input simultaneously. Its built-in Green Power Priority system intelligently favours available solar energy before switching to alternator power, maximising efficiency and reducing engine load on the road. With an operating temperature range of -15°C to 80°C and a compact 165 × 120 × 37 mm footprint, the BCDCN1225 is engineered to handle the harsh conditions Australian adventurers encounter — from scorching outback runs to cold alpine camp mornings.

Designed specifically for in-cabin and canopy installations, the BCDCN1225 suits a wide range of setups including caravans, camper trailers, 4WD touring rigs, RVs, and motorhomes. It handles 12V and 24V standard and smart/variable-voltage alternators without modification, and its four selectable charging profiles cover AGM, Gel, standard lead acid, calcium, and lithium LiFePO4 batteries — so you can charge whatever chemistry your dual-battery system runs. The three-stage boost, absorption, and float charging cycle actively extends auxiliary battery life, keeping your campsite powered for fridges, lighting, and all the gear that makes off-road life comfortable.
