What does the bigger 75mm opening buy me?

Room. A 75 mm ring takes wide webbing, a doubled rope or a gloved hand, which matters when you are clipping a bridle on in a chop. The 8 mm bar keeps it stiff, so the extra size does not make it floppy.

Where would I use a ring this size on a camper?

Does the size make it stronger?
