No, and that is the main thing to get straight. It is thermoelectric, so it cools relative to the air around it rather than to a set temperature, reaching about 14°C in a 32°C cabin after a couple of hours. Cold drinks and a cool lunch, not milk safety.
Better than the cooling, as it happens: up to 65°C in a 25°C cabin after a couple of hours running. That is hot coffee or a warm pie on a winter drive. It is the same unit reversed, so it does one job at a time, not both.
Between the seats or in the footwell. At 495 mm long but only 200 mm wide, it takes the shape of the transmission tunnel rather than a seat. The built-in cup holders on top are the point: it becomes the console a work ute never came with.
