The high-performance Patrol ice chests keep ice frozen for days. Built to last trip after trip with thick PU insulated walls, a single piece roto-molded construction, and a full-length hinge pin. More than just a box to put ice in, these coolers offer smart features like Patrol's leak proof drain, deep-freeze lid seal and one-hand rubber latch opening. For extra-functionality, a clever accessory dock can house optional accessories including: a bottle opener, cup holder or fishing rod holder.

Shipping
Outdoor Camping Australia operates a nationwide distribution network, with items shipping from:
- Our warehouse in Bendigo, Victoria
- Partner supplier warehouses on the East Coast
- Partner supplier warehouses on the West Coast
This multi-location approach allows us to provide efficient delivery across Australia. Use our shipping calculator on the product pages for accurate delivery times and costs to your location.
Important Shipping Notes:
- We cannot deliver to PO Boxes, Private Mail Bags or Parcel Lockers
- Depot pickup options may be available at reduced rates (contact us to discuss)
- Off-mainland deliveries require additional shipping fees (custom quoted)
- Missed deliveries may incur a redelivery fee set by the courier
- All shipments managed through our trusted delivery partners including Border Express, VicTas, DHL, StarTrack, AusPost, Sendle and Aramex
Returns
As outlined in our Refund Policy, we follow the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) which protects consumers by providing certain guaranteed rights when buying goods and services.
You can return items if:
- The product is faulty or not of merchantable quality
- The product is not fit for its intended purpose
- The product does not match the description
- You can present proof of purchase
For change of mind returns:
- Item must be in original condition with tags attached
- Must be returned within 30 days of purchase
- Original proof of purchase required
- Return shipping is at customer's expense
- Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless due to our error
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the return.

All Dometic products are built to exceptional standards, and we stand behind them with a robust warranty and returns process. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about the warranty for Dometic products, including coverage details, exclusions, and how to handle claims or returns.
5-Year Manufacturer Warranty
Dometic provides a 5-year warranty on all cooler products, in line with Australian consumer laws. This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Faults in materials or workmanship

What’s Not Covered by the Warranty
To ensure clarity, the Dometic warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Damage from improper use or handling
- Cosmetic issues that don’t impact functionality
- Damage caused by extreme weather, accidents, or external factors
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Products used commercially (unless specified otherwise)
- Second-hand, demo, ex-display, or refurbished items
- Issues arising from failure to follow care or maintenance instructions
- Perceived faults where the product meets Dometic’s performance standards
Note: These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights under local consumer laws.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you suspect a manufacturing defect with your Dometic product, follow these steps:
- Contact Us or Your Retailer: Reach out to Camping Australia at contact@campingaustralia.com.au (if purchased from us), the retailer where you bought the product, or your local Dometic branch (find details at dometic.com/dealer). Provide proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
- Return for Inspection: Include your receipt and a note explaining the problem when sending the product back.
- Assessment: Dometic will evaluate the product. If the issue is covered, they’ll repair or replace it at their discretion.

Consumer Rights
Australia Only:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You’re entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You may also have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure isn’t a major one.
New Zealand Only:
This warranty is subject to the conditions and guarantees mandated by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ).
