A 300W monocrystalline 12V panel with charge controller — the size most caravanners land on when a fridge, lights, water pump and device charging all have to run without shore power. The extra 50W over a 250W panel is the margin that covers overcast days rather than perfect ones.

Monocrystalline cells deliver more watts per square metre, which is what matters when van roof space, not budget, sets the ceiling. The controller and USB outputs are included, so this plus a battery is a complete off-grid setup.
