Check the thread against your stud before ordering. Metric coarse is the usual on marine gear, but a thread that nearly fits is worse than none: it winds on a turn or two, feels tight, then strips the moment you load it. Take the bolt to the bench and try it.
Not as supplied, no. Nothing here carries a rated load, and a lifting eye needs a rating you can point to. As a tie-off for a shade sail, an awning line, a tarp or a tensioned rope it is well suited, because those loads are modest and shared.
Anti-seize or lanolin on the stud before you wind it on. Stainless against stainless galls under pressure, and once it has, the nut and the stud are one piece. Do it up by hand first, feel for grit, and never run it down with a rattle gun.
