Will 912 mm fit on a caravan slide?

Most external slides on a caravan or camper will take it, but check the rating as well as the length, because 33.6 kg empty plus 85 litres of food is a lot of leverage hanging off a drawbar box. Also check the lids clear the hatch opening when extended.

Is 35.5 litres of freezer overkill?

Only if you shop every few days. For a family crossing the Nullarbor, or anyone parked up in the bush for a fortnight, 35.5 litres frozen next to 49.5 litres chilled is the difference between planning meals and improvising them. Fewer supply runs is the real payoff.

3.1 amp-hours average, what does that need behind it?

A house battery and solar, or long drive days with a DC-DC charger. This is not a fridge you hang off a starter battery. Both compartments working at once means the compressor runs most of the day in summer, and the average assumes the box is already cold.
