If you are out for more than a night, yes. No ice means the whole 30 litres carries food, nothing gets wet, and a range of -22°C to +10°C means you set a temperature rather than hope. For a single day at the beach an esky still wins on simplicity.
At 610 by 340 by 424 mm it is the one in the range that slots into tight spots: behind a dual cab seat, in a wagon footwell, or on a compact slide. Leave clearance at both ends, because the DC inputs and bottle openers sit on the short faces.
Insulation and the compressor, mostly. Thick walls are what let a small box hold -22°C in a hot car, and there is no way to get that without weight and wall thickness eating into the internal space. It is the trade for not carrying ice.
