0.88 amp-hours, can my solar really keep up?

That is the average at +4°C, and it is a light enough load that a modest panel and a decent battery will hold it through a sunny day. Shade, several overcast days in a row and a fridge sitting in the sun are what break the sums, not the fridge itself.

Is it built for an external fridge slide?

Yes, and that is where it makes the most sense: 762 mm long, 460 mm tall and 18.9 kg empty on a caravan or camper slide, out of the living space. Just make sure the slide is rated for the loaded weight and the lid can swing clear of the hatch.

Will 85 cans really fit?

With the basket out and nothing else in there, yes. In practice you are splitting the 60 litres between drinks and food, so treat 85 as the theoretical maximum. It is still a big single compartment, plenty for a family weekend or a couple on a fortnight.
