Common questions

Single zone at 43 litres, who is that right for?

Anyone who wants one job done well. All 43 litres at one temperature means 60 cans of drinks, or a full fridge load, or a freezer, rather than a compromise split down the middle. Couples and solo travellers usually find this beats a dual zone of the same size.

What is the point of a multidirectional lid?

It lets you change which side the lid hinges on in about 30 seconds without tools, which matters when the fridge lives on a slide and the wall is on the wrong side. Work out your access before the first trip and you will never touch it again.

How light does 16.5 kg feel loaded?

Empty it is a genuine one-person carry. Fill 43 litres with drinks and you are well past that, so plan where it lives before you load it. The tie-down rated handles matter more than the weight, because an unrestrained fridge in a rollover is a projectile.
