Folded down it is about 500 × 300 × 150 mm and 6.5 kg, so a tunnel boot or a ute tray swallows it easily. The harder question is where the bike lives, because the trainer only earns its space if the bike is coming too.
Magnetic resistance is quieter than a fan unit, but the noise campers actually hear is tyre hum and vibration going through the floor. Put it on matting rather than bare concrete, keep the resistance moderate, and pick your hours. Awning walls are thin and sites are close together.
Because a trainer roller chews through a road tyre far faster than bitumen does, and it leaves black dust on everything nearby. Swapping to the supplied practice tyre before a block of indoor sessions saves the tread you actually ride on. Keep a spare wheel set up if you train often.
