Is a micro fuse the same as a mini blade?

No, and they are easy to mix up in a drawer. Micro blade is the smaller, narrower format used in late-model fuse boxes and compact aftermarket holders, and a mini will not seat properly in a micro slot. Check the shape of the fuse you pulled out before matching it.

My 10A fuse keeps blowing, can I fit a 15A?

No. The fuse is protecting the wiring behind it, and that wiring was sized for 10A. Fitting a 15A leaves the cable unprotected and moves the failure from a blown fuse to a melted loom. A fuse that blows repeatedly is telling you to go and find the fault.

How many spares should I carry?

More than you think, which is why they come 5 to a pack. Spares live in the vehicle, not the shed, because the rating you need is always the one at home. Keep a few of each across 5A, 10A and 15A in a labelled container in the glovebox.
