Common questions about Country Orange 4m x 2.4m recycled poly mat

How do I know if I need this size or the larger one?

Go by van body length, not the model badge. This one is sized for 12ft to 18ft single-axle vans, which covers most poptops and small tourers. If your van is longer than that, the mat stops short of the rear and you end up tracking dirt in from the uncovered end.

Do the holes really stop sand coming back up?

They work the way a sieve works. Sand drops through the weave and stays down there rather than under your feet, which is the whole trick at a beach camp. It does mean the sand collects underneath, so shake the mat out properly before you fold it or you will carry the beach home.

Will the colour last in full sun?

UV stabilising slows fading, it does not stop it. Bright patterns show the change earlier than muted ones, so an orange mat left out through a Queensland summer will soften in colour before a grey one would. Roll it up when you are off exploring for the day and it will hold on longer.
