Detailed Features

Common questions

Will it suit my van?

It is cut for an 18ft to 21ft dual-axle van, so it runs the length of the awning rather than sitting as a square at the door. On a shorter van it will overhang the ends, which is fine if you have the room but looks untidy on a tight site.

Is 5kg the whole story on packing it?

Weight is the easy part; bulk is the problem. Five kilos is nothing to lift, but a mat this size rolls into a solid bundle that wants a boot or a tunnel locker to itself. Roll it from one short end and keep it tight, or it will not go back in the bag.

How do I stop it lifting in the wind?

Peg every eyelet on the windward side before you unroll the rest, not after. A mat this big catches air like a sail once a corner lifts, and that is when eyelets tear. On hard sites where pegs will not go in, weigh the edges with your chairs, water container or a couple of pavers.
