The Nortent Vern 1 3S brings the legendary stability of the Vern series to a 1.67 kg package, optimised for fast-and-light 3-season travel. It is the lightweight evolution of Nortent's signature Vern 1: where the original is a fortress for the harshest 4-season conditions, the 3S is meticulously engineered for those who move quickly through the mountains from spring to autumn — shedding a full kilogram while keeping the space, aerodynamic silhouette and reliability Nortent is known for.

The “3S” designation means it is purpose-built for spring, summer and autumn, with a more breathable inner tent and optimised fabrics that prioritise packability and airflow. The flysheet is an ultralight, fully waterproof ripstop silnylon 15D with a 3000 mm hydrostatic head, pitched over a tough 40D nylon floor rated to 5000 mm. Three 8.7 mm DAC NFL poles give the tent its stable, wind-shedding profile.

Eight Dyneema guylines and 18 aluminium Y-pegs lock it down when the weather turns, and it packs to just 42 × 17 cm. An optional Vern 1 footprint (sold separately) protects the floor and keeps the groundsheet clean — see Compatible Accessories below.

For change of mind returns:

Item must be in original condition with tags attached

Nortent Warranty & Returns

Limited 24 Month Manufacturer Warranty

Nortent offers a 2-year warranty on all products in accordance with Norwegian consumer laws. This warranty covers:

Manufacturing defects
Faults in materials or workmanship

If you experience issues with your gear, please contact us for support.

However, to set clear expectations, the Noretent warranty does not cover:

Regular wear and tear from normal use
Improper use, including exceeding the maximum weight capacity
Cosmetic damage that does not affect function (e.g., minor scratches, fabric discoloration)
Modifications or alterations made to the product
Residue from duct tape or adhesives, which may void the warranty

We recommend testing your Noretent within one year of purchase. We cannot help process warranty claims beyond this period.
