Common questions
Will 27 inches fit where my old screen sat?
Measure the cavity before you commit. Van joinery is usually built around whatever screen came out of the factory, and a 27 inch panel is wider than most people picture. Check the opening width, allow for the stand footprint on the bench, and leave room to angle it.
There is no DVD player in this one — does that matter?
Only if you still travel with discs. Plenty of people have moved to files on a USB drive or streaming through the stick, which covers most of what a disc player did. If your collection is on disc, look at the combo model instead.
Can I run it off the battery all evening?
It runs straight off 12V, which beats putting an inverter in the loop. Even so, a screen plus a soundbar is a real load on a single battery, so watch your state of charge on a run of cloudy days and use 240V when you are on a powered site.
