Common questions
Is 24 inches big enough for a caravan?
For a single berth or a couple sitting a few metres away, yes — you sit far closer in a van than in a lounge room, so 24 inches fills the view. If your van has a dedicated lounge and you watch from the far end, go bigger.
Should I leave it on the stand while towing?
No. That stand is made for camp, not corrugations. Pack the screen flat on a bed or in a padded cupboard before you roll, then set it up when you arrive. Vibration is what kills televisions in vans, and a tabletop stand does nothing to stop it.
Will the Smart Stick work out bush?
Only where you have data. The stick streams over your phone hotspot or park wifi, so with no signal you fall back to whatever the aerial pulls in, a disc, or files on a USB drive. Download what you want to watch before heading somewhere remote.
