Common questions
What do the 535mm and 720mm positions give me?
720mm is normal dining height. 535mm drops the top level with the seat bases so it becomes a bed infill or a low lounging table. Those are the two working positions, so check your cushion height matches 535mm before you build the top around it.
Is 25kg enough load capacity?
For a laid table, a laptop and a pair of elbows, comfortably. What 25kg is not rated for is someone sitting or standing on the top, or a heavy vice bolted down for workbench duty. Kids climbing on a dinette table is how these get bent.
How does black anodising hold up inside a van?
Anodising is a hardened surface layer rather than paint, so it will not flake or peel off the alloy. It does wear through to bright metal on the edges where chairs and shoes knock it, and dark finishes show dust and fingerprints more than silver.
