Overview
An extra-wide clip-on convex towing mirror twin pack from Milenco's Grand Aero range, for wide rear visibility while towing.
Common questions
How is the Grand Aero different to the standard Aero?
Same idea with more glass. The extra width is what you want behind a wide van, where a smaller mirror leaves the van's back corner just out of view. If your van is barely wider than the car, the smaller mirror is easier to live with in carparks.
Do I have to take them off when I unhitch?
Yes, and you should. Clip-on mirrors put the car over its legal width on their own, they get knocked about in tight parking, and they are an obvious thing to walk off with. Pull them off when the van is parked and keep them in the footwell.
How do I set them up so they are actually useful?
With the van hitched and straight, aim each mirror so the side of the van fills only the inner edge of the glass and the rest shows the lane. Most people point them too far in, watch their own van all day and miss the car alongside.
