Fiamma products are designed to enhance your outdoor adventures, and we back them with a comprehensive warranty and returns process. Below, you’ll find all the details about the warranty for Fiamma products, including coverage, exclusions, and how to manage claims or returns.

1-Year Manufacturer Warranty

Fiamma provides a 1-year warranty on all its products, in accordance with Australian consumer laws and the policies of our distributor, Coast RV Pty Ltd. This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faults in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance

If you experience an issue with your Fiamma product, please contact us for support.

What’s Not Covered by the Warranty

For clarity, the Fiamma warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear from regular use
  • Damage due to improper installation, use, or handling
  • Defects caused by failure to follow Fiamma’s installation or maintenance instructions
  • Damage from accidents, negligence, or improper transportation
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs, or use of non-original Fiamma spare parts
  • Products subjected to abnormal conditions (e.g., extreme temperature, pressure, or stress)
  • Cosmetic issues that do not affect functionality
  • Second-hand, demo, ex-display, or refurbished items
  • Commercial use of products (unless specified otherwise)
  • Issues where no defect is found after testing

Note: These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights under local consumer laws.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you suspect a manufacturing defect with your Fiamma product, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us or Your Retailer: Reach out to Camping Australia at contact@campingaustralia.com.au (if purchased from us) or the retailer where you bought the product. Provide:
    • Proof of purchase
    • Serial number of the product
    • A detailed description of the issue (digital photos are recommended to support your claim)
  2. Return for Inspection: Send the product to the supplier with your proof of purchase and a note explaining the problem. The cost and risk of transportation are your responsibility unless the claim is verified.
  3. Assessment: Fiamma or the supplier will inspect the product. If the issue is covered, they will repair or replace the product or defective parts at their discretion. If no defect is found, you may be charged a $45.00 AUD (plus GST) inspection fee plus freight costs.

Consumer Rights

Australia Only:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

New Zealand Only:
This warranty is subject to the conditions and guarantees mandated by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ).

Repairs and Spare Parts

If your Fiamma product is not covered by warranty or requires spare parts, contact Camping Australia or your retailer for assistance. Only use genuine Fiamma spare parts to ensure compatibility and performance.

Costs Associated with Warranty Claims

Camping Australia or the supplier covers costs directly related to repairing or replacing defective Fiamma products under warranty. However:

  • You are responsible for delivery, insurance, travel, and inspection/testing costs unless the claim is verified.
  • Additional work beyond fixing the defect (e.g., third-party testing or repairs without prior authorization) is at your expense.
  • If no defect is found, a $45.00 AUD (plus GST) inspection fee plus freight costs may apply.

Warranty Limitations

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Fiamma and Camping Australia are not liable for:

  • Consequential, direct, or indirect losses (e.g., loss of profits, business, or goodwill)
  • Transportation or travel costs
  • Defects caused by improper installation, which should be addressed with the installer
