Common questions

How do I choose between this and the smaller NRX?

Height. Both share a 52.5 x 56.8 cm footprint, so the only question is whether your cabinet opening takes 81.2 cm. If it does, you get 126 usable litres in the same floor space. If it does not, the shorter model is the one that fits.

What is Quiet mode actually for?

Sleeping. A compressor cycling next to the bed in a small van is a common gripe about upright DC fridges. Quiet trades a little cooling speed for less noise overnight, while Performance does the opposite when you have just loaded a warm shop and need it down fast.

Standard or flush-mount frame — which should I choose?

Flush looks better in a modern van and sits level with the joinery, but it demands a more accurate opening and less forgiveness in the carpentry. Standard is the safer choice for a retrofit into an older cabinet where the opening is not square.

What’s Not Covered by the Warranty

To ensure clarity, the Dometic warranty does not cover:

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Return for Inspection: Include your receipt and a note explaining the problem when sending the product back.
Assessment: Dometic will evaluate the product. If the issue is covered, they’ll repair or replace it at their discretion.

Australia Only:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
