The Carefree Freedom 4.0M 12V Box Awning in Silver Shale Fade (Part No. 351576D25TM) is a full-cassette electric awning delivering 4.0 metres of shade coverage at the touch of a button. The Freedom Box series is renowned for its sturdy all-aluminium cassette housing, which fully encloses and protects the vinyl awning fabric when retracted — keeping it clean and dry regardless of road conditions. The 12V electric motor provides smooth, reliable one-touch deployment and retraction, with a manual override for safety. The Silver Shale Fade fabric adds a contemporary, upscale appearance to any caravan or motorhome.

Built to Carefree of Colorado's exacting North American standards and fully suitable for Australian conditions, the Freedom 4.0M box awning is an ideal upgrade for caravans and motorhomes that currently have manual awnings or no awning at all. The 4.0-metre projection provides generous shelter for outdoor dining, a camp kitchen, or a relaxing outdoor lounge. Installation is straightforward against the vehicle sidewall, and the complete kit includes all necessary mounting hardware. A popular choice for grey nomads, park-and-stay travellers, and anyone who values easy, weather-protected outdoor living.
