Overview

A single-gang wireless switch for Sphere's Series 2.0 12V control system, letting you add lighting or accessory control points without running new wiring. Works with the Sphere 12 Channel receiver for centralised, app-free control.

Common questions

Will this work with my existing 12V switches?

No. It talks to the Sphere Series 2.0 receiver and nothing else, so the receiver has to be in the van before this switch does anything at all. Check the model number on your receiver rather than assuming, because Sphere has run more than a single generation of these systems.

Where is a wireless switch actually worth the bother?

Retrofits, mostly. Adding a light switch by the bed, beside the door or out under the awning in a finished van means pulling trim and fishing cable through framing. A wireless point sticks on the wall and the job is done. In a van being built, run the wire instead.

What happens when the battery goes flat?

The circuit stays wherever you left it and that switch point stops responding until you change the cell. Keep spares in the van, especially if the switch controls something you rely on after dark. It is also worth keeping a way to reach the receiver or the panel directly.
