Common questions about KAMADO JOE® Classic Joe Cover

Will it still fit with the side shelves out?

Yes, it is cut to go over the dome, the shelves and the cart together. Fold the shelves down first anyway. A cover stretched over open shelves pulls tight at the corners, and that is where the stitching and the fabric wear through first.

Will the grill go mouldy underneath it?

Not if you let the grill cool and dry before covering it. The fabric breathes, but nothing vents a dome you shut away warm and damp after a cook. Pull the cover off on a sunny day now and then, especially through a humid coastal summer.

Will it hold on in wind?

The hem cord and toggle are what do the work, so pull them in properly rather than leaving the cover draped. Cinched under the cart it stays put in a decent blow. Left loose, it flaps, and flapping fabric against a ceramic band is what wears the coating off.
