The flagship of Fusion's marine range, Apollo 770 is the world's first touchscreen marine stereo with built-in Wi-Fi and AirPlay 2. A vivid 4.3" capacitive touchscreen, powerful onboard amplifier and full wireless connectivity suite make it the centrepiece of a serious onboard entertainment system.

Common questions

Do I need the Wi-Fi if I already have Bluetooth?

Only if you want more than one phone or a multi-zone setup talking to the head unit at once. Wi-Fi and AirPlay 2 give you better audio and a stable connection across a boat; Bluetooth is simpler and fine if one phone runs the music.

Will the touchscreen work with wet hands or gloves?

Capacitive screens are quick and smooth with a dry finger, and they get fussy with salt water on the glass or a sailing glove on your hand. Wipe the screen before you poke at it. If you run the boat in gloves most of the time, consider a button unit.

Is the built-in amplifier enough, or do I still need external amps?

For a pair of cockpit speakers and modest volume, the onboard channels are plenty. Once you add a sub, a second zone or want to be heard over an outboard at speed, the peak figure stops being the limit and you will want external amplification.
