Overview

A compact 2-channel zone amplifier built to pair with Fusion's Multi-Zone stereos, adding real power to a second zone without a bulky footprint. Water-resistant with a conformal-coated PCB, it's a discreet way to give a cockpit, awning area or second cabin proper sound.

Common questions

Why is the RMS figure so much lower than 70W?

Because peak and RMS measure different things. The 26W RMS per channel at 4 ohm is the number that describes real continuous output; 70W is the short-burst figure. Compare amplifiers on RMS at the impedance you will actually run and you will avoid disappointment.

Where should this be mounted in a van or boat?

Somewhere dry-ish with air around it. Water-resistant means it copes with humidity and the odd splash, not a bilge or an under-bunk space that floods. Class-D runs cool but still wants airflow, so avoid burying it under bedding or in a sealed locker.

What does audio-detect auto power actually save me?

A remote turn-on wire, which is the fiddliest part of an amplifier install in a van or boat. The amp wakes when it sees signal and sleeps when it stops, so you are not running a trigger lead back to the head unit or leaving it drawing current.
