Overview
The go-to for longer trips or weekends with friends. Efficient Vacuum Insulated Panels deliver outstanding insulation, the gasket seals tight, and the compressor delivers powerful, energy-efficient cooling. An integrated ice maker delivers fresh ice — no bags, no half-melted cubes. Control it with the Dometic Mobile Cooling app.
Common questions
Does the ice maker need plumbing in?
It is a portable fridge, so the water comes from you rather than a plumbed line. That is the practical catch: making ice means carrying water and remembering to top it up. Handy when you are parked for days with good water, less so when you are rationing every litre.
Does the ice maker eat into storage space?
It does. This unit is listed at 53 litres against the plain 55 in the same body, so the ice maker takes its share. If you rarely want ice and always want space, the version without it is the smarter pick for the same 72 x 45.5 x 48 cm footprint.
Who is this actually for?
People who camp in one spot with company — beach shacks, station stays, long weekends where drinks matter and the shop is hours away. If you are a solo tourer covering ground every day, the ice maker is 21.9 kg of fridge doing a job you will rarely ask for.
