Common questions
What does three-stage battery protection actually do?
It watches the supply voltage and shuts the compressor down before it flattens your battery, with three cut-out levels to choose from. Set it low and you risk not starting the car. Set it high and the fridge stops early on a tired battery. Most people run the middle setting.
Is the phone app worth having, or a gimmick?
Useful in one specific way: checking the temperature without opening the lid, which is the single biggest thing that warms a portable fridge. You will not use it daily, but on a hot afternoon it saves you lifting a lid just to satisfy your curiosity.
Will 37 litres take a decent shop for two?
It takes a solid few days for two if you pack it properly. Rated at 48 cans or 4 x 1.5 L bottles, the useful detail is that tall bottles stand upright, which is where smaller fridges lose out. A full week of meat and veg is still a stretch.
