Six Smoked Pounders Recipe
1.8 g lean mince 900 g ground sausage
Onion to taste
Green pepper to taste
Fried bacon pieces to taste
Cheddar cheese chunks
Worcestershire sauce or steak sauce, if desired
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly and make six burgers (450 g each). Add favourite rub, and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.
- Take burgers out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before smoking. Smoke until desired temperature is reached.
- Serve on kaiser rolls with desired fixings.
