About this campsite

Baldy Top Lookout is a stunning destination that offers an unsurpassed panorama of the vast surrounding landscape. With two elevated plateaus to explore, it stands as a novelty in the channel country, a region typically devoid of such heights. Despite the rougher road requiring a 4WD to the second plateau, it's well worth the visit, presenting a unique opportunity to experience an elevated view without exerting much effort. Your adventure and appreciation for nature's beauty awaits at Baldy Top Lookout.

Baldy Top Lookout, a captivating hike of modest difficulty, gifts its visitors with an expansive, stunning view of the surrounding scenery. Set amid the awe-inspiring channel countryside, the Lookout is uniquely positioned on one of the few elevated areas in an otherwise flat landscape. For the more adventuresome, a second plateau is accessible via a tougher road suited for 4WD vehicles. With its unique vantage point in nature, Baldy Top Lookout is undeniably a worthwhile detour for lovers of natural beauty.
