Common questions about Thetford C263 China Bowl Toilet

Why choose a china bowl over plastic?

It cleans like the toilet at home. Plastic bowls scratch over the years and hold stains that no amount of scrubbing shifts; ceramic does not. The trade-off is weight — 17.5kg of it — which is worth a thought if your payload is already close to the limit.

How often will I be emptying a 17.5L cassette?

Every few days for a couple, sooner with a family or if you flush generously. Empty it before it is brimming rather than after — a full 17.5L cassette is heavy and awkward to walk across a caravan park, and the seals thank you for not overfilling.

Will it fit a small van bathroom?

Measure before you fall in love with it. At 750 x 417 x 600mm this is a full-size unit, taller and deeper than the compact models, with a 479mm seating height that suits adults but eats floor space. In a wet bathroom the size is often the deciding factor.
