What actually fits in 6 litres?

Lunch for two and a couple of cans, or a day's worth of snacks and fruit. At 280 by 190 by 200 mm it is about the size of a small backpack, so think crib box or beach kit rather than camp catering. Ice packs eat into it too.

Will it keep things cold all day in the sun?

Not on its own. A 6 litre box has little thermal mass, so it holds cold for a few hours with ice packs and then gives up, especially sitting in a car. Keep it in the shade or in the footwell and it will see out a work day or a beach trip.

Is 0.8 kg light enough to carry on a walk?

Yes, empty. Add ice packs and drinks and you are carrying a few kilos by the handle with no shoulder strap, which gets old on a long track. It suits the walk from the car park to the beach or the picnic table more than a genuine day hike.
