Kamado Joe
The top is aluminium, so it takes a camp stove or a portable grill sitting on it without scorching the way a timber or plastic table would. Heat still travels: leave a gap under a charcoal unit and do not sit a full firebox directly on the surface.
For prep and a stove, yes. Put a camp stove and a kettle on a 90 x 60 cm top and you have lost most of it, so it works best as the cooking station with a second table for plating and eating. On its own it gets crowded quickly.
They are the reason this table beats a fixed-leg one at a bush site. Very few campsites are flat, and a wobbling table with a stove on it is a genuine hazard. Set the legs before you load it up, then push down on each corner to check it sits.
