Overview

The Force Ten F10 Vulcan is a serious four-season sleeping bag engineered for adventurers who refuse to compromise on warmth or weight. At its core is Force Ten's Hydro Barrier Down — ethically sourced duck down treated to repel moisture and maintain loft in wet Australian mountain conditions — housed in a reflective V-baffle construction that virtually eliminates cold spots and maximises thermal efficiency. The lightweight 20D nylon shell keeps the packed weight to just 1,250 g while delivering a -12°C comfort rating, making the Vulcan one of the most capable sub-1.3 kg bags available at this temperature rating.

Built for Australian alpine weekenders, 4WD tourers heading into the Snowy Mountains or Victorian High Country, backcountry hikers, and caravan travellers venturing into the outback during winter, the Vulcan delivers genuine expedition-grade warmth in a compact, packable form. Whether you're camping out of the back of a 4WD, base-camping beneath the Main Range, or heading off-road into remote areas where cold nights are unavoidable, this bag keeps you warm, dry, and rested so you can make the most of the next day's adventure.
