Overview
The Fiernero 7×4 Box Cage Trailer Cover is purpose-built to protect your trailer load from Australia's harshest elements — blazing sun, driving rain, and dusty outback roads. Constructed from premium heavy-duty canvas with a 600mm (2 ft) cage height, this cover is engineered to sit flush over standard 7×4 ft box trailers fitted with a 600mm cage frame. The reinforced stitching at all stress points and pre-formed corner shaping ensure a secure, snug fit that won't lift or flap at highway speed, while integrated tie-down points lock the cover firmly in place during transit.
Designed for Australian caravanners, campers, and 4WD adventurers who regularly haul gear behind their tow vehicle, this cover is an essential addition to any trailer setup. Whether you're loading up the trailer with camping equipment, garden waste, building materials, or tools for a remote off-road trip, it keeps your load contained, protected, and road-legal. The durable canvas construction resists UV degradation and moisture penetration, making it equally at home on a weekend camping run to the High Country or a long-haul caravan trip across the Nullarbor. A must-have for any serious Australian trailer owner.

- Heavy-duty canvas construction rated for premium durability and long-term outdoor use

- Reinforced stitching at all corners and stress points to resist tearing and separation
- Integrated tie-down straps and eyelets secure the cover firmly during highway transit
- UV-resistant and water-repellent canvas protects loads from sun, rain, and road dust
Common questions
How do I know this will fit my trailer?
Measure the cage, not the trailer. This is cut for a 7x4 with a 600mm cage, which is the most common combination on the road here. A taller cage leaves you with a cover that will not reach, and a shorter one leaves slack canvas for the wind to work on.
Is it waterproof?
Water repellent, not sealed. The canvas sheds rain and road spray, which is what a trailer load actually needs, but in sustained weather water finds its way past eyelets and stitch lines. Anything that has to stay bone dry travels in a tub, under the cover, not loose.
Will it stay put at highway speed?
That is the job of the shaped corners and the tie-down straps. A cover that sits flush gives the wind far less to grab than a flat tarp thrown over the top. Run every strap rather than just the corners, and check the tension again after your first stop.
